"Dourada" Grilled gilthead seabream

  1. 1 gilthead seabream "dourada" (ready to cook, approx. 350 g)
  2. salt, pepper
  3. 1 lemon

1. Remove the gilthead seabream from the fridge about 30 min before starting.

2. With a sharp knife on top of a cutting board, cut the gilthead seabream in half starting from the head to the tail, in such a way that the two sides are still attached at the backbone, making it look like butterfly wings when opened up. Season it with salt and pepper.

3. Wash the lemon in hot water, squeeze out half of it, and cut the other half into slices.

4. Place the pan on the Navigenio and heat to level 6 until the roasting window is reached.

5. Place the open gilthead seabream with skin down in the pan, add the lemon juice and the lemon slices on top. Swith the Navigenio to level 2. Roast until the turning point is reached. Place the hot pan on top of the lid and swicth off the Navigenio.

6. Place the Navigenio overhead and switch to high level and grill for approximately 2 minutes.

7. Serve the grilled gilthead seabream immediately.

Tip

  • Serve with AMC steamed vegetables or fresh salad.
