Chickeny Rice

  1. 2 cups rice
  2. 30 g pine nut
  3. 60 g almond
  4. 60 g pistachios
  5. 45 g cashew nut
  6. 25 g dried grapes
  7. 300 g beef mincemeat
  8. 1 1/2 kg whole chicken
  9. 1 ts sweet pepper powder
  10. 3 ts mixed spices
  11. 1/2 ts nutmeg powder
  12. 3 ts cinnamon
  13. 2 tbs vegetable oil
  14. 3 ts salt
  15. 200 ml water

1. Overview of the ingredients.

2. Soak the rice with hot water for half an hour.

3. Place the pot on Navigenio and set it at level 6.

4. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the roasting symbol appears.

5. As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the roasting window, set Navigenio to level 2, open the lid, add the mixed nuts, roast them, remove them and set aside.

6. Add then the minced meat, let it become nicely colored and season it with sweet pepper.

7. Open the chicken from the chest side, rub it well with mixed spices and nutmeg, and then place it in the bottom of the pot.

8. Drain rice from water, mix with meat, cinnamon, oil and salt.

9. Spread the rice over the chicken, simmer a little half, then add water in the middle and close with Secuquick softline.

10. Set Navigenio to Automatic “A”. Switch on Audiotherm, enter approx. 15 minutes cooking time in the Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn until the turbo symbol appears.

11. At the end of cooking time, place the pot in an inverted lid and leave it to depressurize by itself.

12. Remove Secuquick, pour rice and chicken in a large dish, garnish with golden mixed nuts on top and serve.

Tip

  • You can serve the Chickeny Rice with white yogurt and cucumber salad.
