  • 35 minutes
  1. 300 g blackberries (fresh or deep-frozen)
  2. 300 g ripe pears
  3. 1 untreated lemon
  4. 2 twigs rosemary
  5. 150 ml apple juice
  6. 3 tbs maple syrup
  7. herbal tea or black tea to taste

1. Sort blackberries. Peel, quarter, core and cut pears into small pieces.

2. Wash the lemon hot and peel off three thin strips of the yellow peel with a peeler. Add everything to the pot with rosemary and apple juice.

3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the vegetable window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 15 minutes in the vegetable area.

4. Remove rosemary sprigs and lemon peel. Blend fruits very lightly with a hand blender. Then place in a sieve and drain very well.

5. Mix fruit juice with maple syrup and let cool completely. Prepare tea and also allow to cool.

6. Mix tea and fruit juice. For a serving of about 250 ml of tea, you need about 30 ml of fruit juice, depending on the desired sweetness.

7. Allow finished iced tea to cool thoroughly in the fridge, bottle or enjoy immediately.

Tip

  • The iced tea is very suitable for the AMC Travel Cup. In the Travel Cup, the iced tea is kept cold for 8 hours.
  • The remaining fruit juice can be frozen very well in an ice cube tray. Later, according to taste, melt about two fruit ice cubes in the tea.
