Gilthead seabream with peppermint and lime

  1. 2 gilthead seabreams (ready to cook, approx. 300 g each)
  2. 1 clove of garlic
  3. 4 stalks peppermint
  4. 2 tbs olive oil
  5. 1 untreated lime
  6. salt, pepper

1. Remove the gilthead seabreams from the fridge about 30 minutes before you intend to prepare them.

2. Peel and finely chop garlic. Finely chop peppermint leaves and mix both with the olive oil. Cut lime into slices.

3. Rinse the gilthead seabreams under cold water and dab them dry with kitchen paper. Season with salt and pepper and place gilthead seabreams on the oval insert, spread the half of the lime slices around. Pour 200 ml water into the pot, place oval insert with fishes inside and and close with the Oval EasyQuick.

4. Heat the pot on highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 10 minutes in the steam area.

5. At the end of cooking time, remove the EasyQuick and the gilthead seabreams.

6. Sprinkle fish with peppermint oil and serve with lime slices.
