Spaghetti Barba di Frate

  1. 600 g agretti (Barba di Frate)
  2. 2 cloves of garlic
  3. 2 red chilies
  4. 500 g spaghetti
  5. 800 ml vegetable broth
  6. 3 tbs olive oil
  7. salt, pepper
  8. shaved Parmesan to taste

1. Clean the agretti, cut off the roots and remove any loose or hard stems. Wash well.

2. Peel and thinly slice garlic. Peel, deseed and finely chop the chiles.

3. Pour the vegetable broth, garlic and chili into the Oval Griddle and stir. Loosely add the spaghetti and sprinkle with agretti.

4. Place Oval EasyQuick on pot. Heat the pot on highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 9 minutes in the steam area.

5. Remove EasyQuick at the end of the cooking time, stir everything well and loosen it.

6. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Serve with shaved Parmesan to taste.

Tip

  • The cooking time can vary depending on the type of spaghetti.
