  1. 3 glass water
  2. 1 piece eggplant
  3. 0.5 ts salt
  4. 1 pinch milled pepper
  5. 2 tbs cumin powder
  6. 5 clove garlic
  7. 0.5 bunch coriander leaves, chopped
  8. 2 tbs olive oil
  9. 0.5 glass molasses

1. Rinse lentils and pour in a pot with 3 cups of water.

2. Cover with EasyQuick. Put the pot on Navigenio, set on Automatic Cooking “A”. Set audiotherm on 7 minutes, and put it on Visiotherm. Turn twice until the Steam Symbol appears. Audiotherm will beep at the end of the cooking time: lentils should be half cooked.

3. Dice the eggplant in cubes

4. Open the lid, add eggplants cubes, salt, black, pepper & cumin. Stir. Put back Easyquick cover & follow the same steps as earlier: set Navigenio on Automatic Cooking “A”. Set audiotherm on 7 minutes, and put it on Visiotherm. Turn twice until the Steam Symbol appears. Audiotherm will beep at the end of the cooking time: lentils and eggplants are now tender and totally cooked. Adjust seasoning.

5. Meanwhile, in your Hot Pan: - Heat your empty Hot Pan on higher temperature level - Put Audiotherm on Visiotherm, turn it twice on Visiotherm till Meat Symbol appears. - Audiotherm will beep when temperature will reach the Roasting Window. - Lower the temperature; put garlic, coriander and mix; add a drop of water if needed.

6. Add the garlic mix to the lentil & eggplants pot, then add olive oil & the molasses. Stir on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes till all the ingredients are well cooked together

Tip

  • Decorate with some chopped coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds and a drop of olive oil Serve cold or hot, with pitta bread.
