Cassava chips with yogurt and feta dip

Cassava Chips:
  1. 200 g manioc (cassava)
  2. 400 ml deep-frying oil
  3. salt, to taste
Yoghurt and Feta Dip:
  1. 200 g feta cheese
  2. 140 g yogurt (prepared with AMC)
Cassava Chips:

1. Peel the cassava and cut it into one-millimetre slices, using a mandolin.

2. Add oil to the pan, heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and place half of the cassava slices in the oil.

3. Deep-fry, uncovered, until cassva chips are golden. Transfer the cassava slices to absorbent paper and leave to drain. Meanwhile, continue deep-frying the remaining cassava slices in the same way, adjusting the heat if necessary.

4. Chips are best served warm and lightly salted.

Yoghurt and feta dip:

5. Mash the feta cheese with a fork until it is crumbled. mix with the yogurt. Serve the cassava chips with the feta yogurt as dip.

Tip

  • The feta dip is made with yogurt, which you can make yourself using the fermentation mode. The instructions can be found in the AMC Cook & Go App.
