Crispy Chicken Burger

Burger:
  1. 1 onion
  2. 400 g minced poultry meat
  3. 1 egg
  4. 4 tbs breadcrumbs
  5. 1 ts ground spicy paprika
  6. 1 tbs AMC Rustico (or other mixed dried herbs)
  7. 1 ts salt
Honey mustard sauce:
  1. 2 tbs Dijon mustard
  2. 2 tbs honey
  3. 2 tbs greek yogurt
  4. 2 tbs mayonnaise
  5. 1 ts white wine vinegar
  6. 1/2 ts chili powder
  7. 1/2 ts garlic powder
  8. salt, pepper
Mayonnaise sauce:
  1. 80 g mayonnaise
  2. 3 ts lemon juice
  3. 1 knife tip garlic powder
  4. 1 knife tip ginger
  5. salt, pepper
To finish:
  1. 800 ml oil for frying
  2. 8 slices of bacon, fried crisp
  3. 4 slices pickles
  4. 4 slices processed cheese
  5. some lettuce leaves
  6. 4 hamburger rolls
To bread chicken:
  1. 50 g flour
  2. 120 g cornflakes
  3. 2 eggs
Burger:

1. Peel and finely cut onion.

2. Mix well onion with minced poultry meat, breadcrumbs, egg and spices.

3. Lightly form the minced chicken into burgers and chill, covered.

Honey mustard sauce:

4. Mix mustard, honey, yogurt, mayonnaise, white wine vinegar with the spices. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Mayonnaise sauce:

5. Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice and spices. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

For breading:

6. Place flour and coarsely crushed cornflakes on plates each. Beat eggs in a deep plate with a fork.

7. Dip each burger first in flour, then in egg and finally in the cornflakes so that they are well coated with them.

Deep-frying burger:

8. Add oil to the pan, heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to a low level and add burgers in the oil.

9. Deep-fry until the turning point is reached.

10. Flip burgers, fry uncovered until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Finish Burger:

11. Lightly toast hamburger buns to taste. Top the buns with lettuce, cheese, pickles and bacon. Place the burgers on top and spread the sauces over them.

Tip

  • With poultry meat it is important that it is well cooked. Therefore, check the degree of cooking before serving.
