  1. 8 beef fillets (approx. 80 g each, approx. 3 cm thick)
  2. 8 raw peeled shrimps
  3. 2 tomatoes
  4. 1 small onion
  5. 1 twig rosemary
  6. 1 twig thyme
  7. 100 g mascarpone
  8. salt, pepper

1. Remove the beef fillets and shrimps from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you intend to prepare it.

2. Dab the beef fillets and shrimp dry with paper towel.

3. Clean the tomatoes and cut each one into four thick slices.

4. Peel the onion and very finely chop them along with herb leaves in the Quick Cut. Add the mascarpone, season with salt and pepper and mix well.

5. Heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, switch to the medium level and place the beef fillets in the center of the pan.

6. Roast until the turning point is reached, turn over the fillets, season with salt and pepper and place one tomato slice each on the fillets. Spread the shrimp around the edge of the pan.

7. Cover with lid, remove the pan from the hob and depending on the desired degree of doneness, let the meat stand (see tips).

8. Remove the meat, spread the herb mascarpone on the fillets, garnish with the shrimp and serve fixed with a toothpick.

Tip

  • Resting time of the steaks depending desired degree of doneness: - approx. 2 minutes for rare/bloody - approx. 4 minutes for medium/pink - approx. 6 minutes for well done/cooked through
