Ingredients
- 500 g raw sweet chestnuts
Preparation
1. Cut the chestnuts on the convex side with a small knife.
2. Heat the pan on highest level up to the roasting window, add the chestnuts to the pan and cook until the turning point is reached. Then turn the chestnuts. Repeat this step until the chestnuts have achieved the desired degree of browning.
3. Turn off the heat and roast the chestnuts for another 10 minutes.
Tip
- The roasted chestnuts are a great snack for cold days and are also a tasty side dish to a cheese platter.
