Mashed potatoes

  1. 1 kg floury potatoes
  2. 40 g butter
  3. 200 ml milk, hot
  4. salt
  5. nutmeg

1. Peel and cut the potatoes into small pieces. Add them to the Softiera insert.

2. Pour approx. 150 ml of water into the pot, put the Softiera insert in, cover with Secuquick softline and close it.

3. Heat the pot on highest level up to the soft window, switch to a low level and cook for approx. 5 minutes in the soft area.

4. At the end of the cooking time, depressurize the pot, pour the water out of the pot and put the potato pieces in the pot.

5. Add the butter, mash the potatoes finely while gradually adding the hot milk.

6. Season to taste with salt and nutmeg.

Tip

  • With the normal AMC lid, a cooking time of approx. 25 minutes in the vegetable area is needed.
  • The puree tastes even spicier with freshly chopped herbs such as wild garlic or parsley. It looks nice when about 300 g of potatoes are replaced by carrots.
