Beef in white wine sauce

  1. 2 onions
  2. 2 carrots
  3. 600 g beef (picanha)
  4. 150 ml white wine
  5. 2 ts cornstarch
  6. 250 ml cream
  7. salt, pepper

1. Peel onions and carrots, quarter the onions and cut the carrots into large pieces.

2. Add meat, onions and carrots in the Softiera insert. Pour the white wine into the pot and place the Softiera insert inside. Close with the EasyQuick with the 24 cm sealing ring.

3. Heat the pot on the highest level up to the steam window, switch to a low level, and cook for approx. 40 minutes in tne steam area.

4. At the end of cooking time, remove the EasyQuick, remove the Softiera insert. Stir the thickener into a little cold water and use to thicken the sauce.

5. Add the cream, season to taste and beat the sauce until frothy (preferably with a hand blender).

6. Cut the meat into slices, let them heat up in the sauce and serve together.

Tip

  • This goes well with wild rice or vegetable rice.
