The Audiotherm

Calls and shows what to do
The Audiotherm provides your Visiotherm with a voice, making cooking with AMC like shelling peas.

Together, the Visiotherm and Audiotherm form the perfect team, allowing you to cook keeping both the temperature and time under control.

The Audiotherm calls you whenever you’re needed and even shows you what to do. One glance at the display tells you:

  • Whether veggies are steaming or meat is being roasted,
  • The Secuquick softline is in the Soft or Turbo window,
  • The temperature is too high or low,
  • The cooking time is up, or how much time is left.

Audiotherm

The signals

Three different acoustic signals make cooking with the Audiotherm even easier:
If it beeps twice to call you,
  • This indicates that pre-heating is complete. The vegetable or roasting window have been reached. If “-” is shown on the Audiotherm display: You can reduce the hob to the low setting.
  • This indicates the temperature is too high, the stop window has been reached. If “-” is shown on the Audiotherm display: You can reduce the hob further or turn it off completely.
  • This indicates the temperature is too low. If “+” is shown on the Audiotherm display, switch to a higher setting on the hob:

If it beeps once to call you,
  • This indicates that the cooking time you have entered is up: It's summoning you to dinner. Bon apetit!

If it keeps on beeping,
  • This indicates a malfunction. The connection may be disrupted with the Visiotherm, Visiotherm S or Visiotherm E or temperature-monitored cooking with the Navigenio.
  • The rotating initialisation symbol is shown on the Audiotherm display: Simply remove the Audiotherm and re-initialise it.

Together with the Navigenio, the Audiotherm forms the perfect team as a cooking system with temperature monitoring.

Visiotherm

The Visiotherm – temperature-optimised cooking

The Sensotherm is our temperature sensor inside your pot, and relays the temperature to the Visiotherm, which visualises the temperature and makes cooking with AMC effortless – it keeps an eye your pot and saves you time otherwise spent in front of your cooker.

The Visiotherm shows whether the pot is hot enough to cook veggies at the right temperature, roast meat or steam fish, for example. It assists the cooking process and shows when you should increase, reduce or switch off the heat. This helps you to save energy while making sure your food is not overcooked. Thanks to our Visiotherm, we always know what's going on inside the pot and each recipe and ingredient is always cooked at the perfect temperature.

Visiotherm
Cooking without adding water
  • Add your prepared vegetables to the pot dripping wet (1⁄2 or max. 2⁄3 full)
  • Position the lid and set the hob to the maximum level
  • The red indicator begins to move and will reach the vegetable window in just a few minutes
  • Reduce the hob to the low setting
  • The red indicator will continue moving
  • In the green window between the vegetable window and the stop window, the pot has the right temperature for cooking without adding water
  • If the red indicator passes into the stop window, it’s too hot inside the pot – reduce the setting on your hob further or switch it off completely

Visiotherm:
Roasting without adding grease
  • Heat up the empty, dry pot with lid on the highest setting
  • Dab the meat dry
  • The red indicator begins to move and will reach the roasting window in just a few minutes
  • Remove the lid, add the meat and reduce the hob to the low setting
  • Position the lid and wait until the red indicator has reached the turning point at 90°C
  • You can now turn the meat, position the lid and turn off the hob completely
  • Let the meat cook for a few minutes, depending on its thickness and your tastes.

Visiotherm:
Steaming
  • Place the pot on the Navigenio
  • Add some water (100 – 150 ml, depending on the pot diameter) to the pot
  • Fill your Softiera insert and place it in the pot
  • Set the Navigenio to “A”
  • Close off the pot with the EasyQuick using the right sealing ring (20 or 24 cm)
  • Turn on the Audiotherm and enter a cooking time
  • Position the Audiotherm on the Visiotherm and turn until the steam symbol appears
  • When the radio symbol on the Audiotherm display appears and the blue light flashes on the Navigenio, the radio connection has been established and automatic cooking has started
  • The red indicator reaches the steam window
  • The Audiotherm begins to beep once the cooking time is up

Visiotherm E:
Soft and Turbo quick cooking
  • Add your prepared ingredients to the cold pot (1⁄2 or max. 2⁄3 full)
  • Position and close the Secuquick softline
  • Put your hob on the highest setting
  • The red indicator begins to move and will reach the Soft or Turbo window in just a few minutes
  • Reduce the hob to the low setting
  • The red indicator will continue moving
  • In the green window between the first and second Soft window or first and second Turbo window, the pot has the right temperature for Soft or Turbo quick cooking.
  • If the red indicator leaves the second Soft or Turbo window, it’s too hot inside the pot – reduce the setting on your hob further or switch it off completely.

Please note:
  • When cooking without adding water, the lid should remain closed for the entire cooking time to ensure optimal results. If you do open it, for example to add ingredients, add one to two tablespoons of liquid to replace any escaping steam.
  • Visiotherm and Visiotherm E can be unscrewed before cleaning, and can be washed either with a damp cloth or in your dishwasher. You can clean the lid or EasyQuick separately. Secuquick softline can be dismantled and washed as separate parts in your dishwasher.
  • Visiotherm and Visiotherm E must not be used in the oven or microwave. Make sure to unscrew them first.
  • The bottom of the Visiotherm features snap-in positions that help you set the Audiotherm for each window.
